Securatrak helping those in need in Vietnam
The Securatrak team has been doing their bit to help disadvantaged kids in Vietnam. The orphanage which is based 60 KM’s out of Nha Trang is not easily visited and does not receive any support from aid organisation in Vietnam.

It is home to 45 children ranging in age from newborns to teenagers who are raised by 6 full time monks led by Monk Minh. They currently survive on donations, food and some supplies from farmers in the local village. These farmers earn no more than USD$200 a month so the orphanage is surviving on the bare minimum. The building needs a lot of work and as the orphanage can’t afford to use wood, they are using rice ‘skin’ to burn for cooking instead.

During last Christmas the Securatrak team based in Vietnam led by Tim Lapham dressed up as Santa and took presents for the kids and monks. “It was a very humbling experience to see all the kids jumping for joy at the site of presents” said Mr Lapham.

Since then, the team has been working hard on building a new home for the kids with the USD$3,000 that Securatrak has donated so far being used for building supplies and food for the orphanage. “Local Builders have also been donating their time to help build the new home while other locals have been helping out where they can. It’s great to see everyone coming together for such a great cause. “
